Stock Rules

6 min read

Last Update: 13th October '19

TL;DR - Credit as deviantart.com/AmoretteRose (don't abbreviate), approved for sim games & harpg etc, don't steal/reupload/etc, no commercial use or hate/porn pieces.

Credit & Notify

Credit for stock use must be given either as: deviantart.com/AmoretteRose OR AmoretteRose.deviantart.com - abbreviations of '.dA' or '/dA' or '@ dA' are NOT acceptable.

All stock images are approved for Sim Games (such as HorsePhenomena) - on-images credits are non-negotiable and must be legible.

All stock may be referenced for HARPG works - simply credit the stock in your description!

On-image credits are not required for commission works (such as for RPG character artworks) - only description credits are required for these.

'Premium' Stock is more unique: the images are available for free up to a certain size (1600px), but to get the full-size image (usually 6016px), you must purchase it for 70 :points:

Manipulations and References

Please manipulate the image! Adding text, adjusting colours, or other such simple edits and then uploading is not manipulating.

Artworks made with my stock may never be uploaded into the 'Photography' or 'Resources' categories.

If creating a lineart/base, you may only do so for personal no monetary/point gain (ie: use it for making your own character references, etc). If you wish to create linearts/bases for the purpose of creating adoptable designs, purchase the stock being used/referenced. *This still does not mean that the lineart/base itself can be uploaded for free or for purchase to the public!

Other forms of referencing should be perfectly fine so long as the rules are followed - if you're unsure, please just send me a note.

Commercial Use

None of my stock is available for commercial use. This means that you cannot create and/or sell duplicates of artworks made with my stock without my express written permission (from this account, or EmberlingArts)

* Commerical use does not mean single-piece commissions (eg: YCH, character manipulations, or works that are not designed to be duplicated/mass-produced).

No-Goes

To reitterate once again, '.dA', '/dA', nor '@ dA' are not acceptable when crediting.

I appreciate a creepy image as much as the next person, but I will not accept art made with my stock that depicts the animal in any manner that implies a painful death, torture, or slaughter.

* Themes that involve creepy effects, such as exposed bones, a low-to-moderate degree of blood, or other such 'creepy' things are totally fine! If you are unsure, just ask!

Absolutely NO sexual/pornographic or discriminatory content is to be made using any of my stocks!

Obviously, there is to be absolutely no re-uploading or stealing of my stock; I do not allow pre-cut or tack-removals of my stock and no stock is to be used in the creation of other stock. As mentioned earlier as well, there is to be no linearts/bases uploaded for free or for purchase.

~Special Notes~

Yes, my stock is available full-size for points AND free; this is NOT a mistake. This gives you the option to support me and my stock. You can still download the full-size images without having to pay if that's how you roll, that's cool, just don't forget to fav and/or comment if you love it, and show me when you've made stuff!! ♥

* All ridden stock, where it would be inappropriate to remove the rider's face, is set up slightly different to other stocks (same as premium stock!). These stocks are only available for free up to 1600px. Full-size versions must be paid for.

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to ask me either via comment, or note; I usually check back at least once per week. However, if you really need me ASAP, send me a note over on EmberlingArts and I'll get back to you within 24hrs!

Sunday 20th (AEST) saw the passing of a miraculous woman. WW2, immigration from England to Australia, 3 children, 12 hip replacements, diabetes, asthma, reconstructed shoulder, fractured wrist, COPD, multiple forms of cancer, mild angina pectoris... Most likely more I've missed.

All before her 80th birthday, which would have been the 22nd October this year.

The world has lost one of the most wonderful, caring, loving people it has ever seen. But at least you're not in pain anymore, and you're in safe hands.

 I'll miss you more than you'll ever know, and I wish more than ever that I could have seen you one more time.

RIP Irene Howarth, 1934-2014
